A Turkish company which created a greenhouse with a vertical farming concept established a consortium consisting of Turkish, German, Danish and Greek partners in order to submit a project proposal to Horizon 2020-Green Deal Call-Area 6: "Testing and demonstrating systemic innovations in support of the Farm-to-Fork Strategy".

The aim of the project is to minimize the energy consumption in food production in soilless agriculture, to maximize savings in water and fertilizer use and to deliver safe and durable foods to consumers in the shortest way without using any harmful pesticides. For this purpose, the Turkish company has developed a highly efficient, fully controlled and enclosed greenhouse with a vertical farming concept for the "Farm-To-Fork" call.

In order to finalize the establishment of the consortium, new collaboration partners are sought from the following fields:

- innovative waste recycling,
- innovative liquid fertilizers and nutritional products,
- personalized dietary solutions
- waste food management
- vertical farming
- agro-food
