Proposal outline:
South East European University (SEEU) is consisted of two well established faculties that have young and ambitious staff showing promising potential for research and development in the future. The project's specific challenge is to address research and networking gaps and deficiencies in the field of Business Intelligence between the research institution of the Widening countries (in this case SEEU) and internationally-leading counterparts at EU level through a process of twinning. Driven by the quest for excellence, research intensive institutions tend to collaborate increasingly in closed groups, producing a crowding-out effect for a large number of promising institutions and thus leaving small and ambitious institutions behind. This is the challenge that a specific Twinning action between SEEU and prominent EU counterparts will try to address.
Type of partner(s) sought, required skills and expertise:
Partners with well established research profile in Business Intelligence from EU Member states. The required high level expertise that tackles Business Intelligence aspects is required such as: Big Data, Online Analytical Processing, Analytics, Data mining, Process Mining, Complex event processing, Business performance management, Benchmarking, Text mining, Predictive analytics and Prescriptive analytics.
