Irish and Canadian SME are looking for partners in order to participate in the Horizon Europe-EUSPA space call, downstream applications with international partners.
The consortium is looking for a high potential and complex use case where the development of a HABs AI model can be breakthrough.
The addressed expected outcome concerned the use of Copernicus data, to develop jointly algorithms, services and/or products, which serve local user needs and/or enhance the Copernicus global product quality.
The combined use of EGNSS and Copernicus to develop innovative downstream applications combining positioning navigation and timing with earth observation services.
The advantages of this system is:
an early warning HAB detection system, using a developed and trained an AI model, can detect and monitor blooms from captured hyperspectral earth observation (EO) images this AI detection model will be able to analyze large spatial volumes of EO hyperspectral data and deliver a threat analysis in a matter of minutes this insight can then be immediately delivered to an end-user, for example direct to their mobile phone.
