Il bando rientra nella Destination 6 – A human-centred and ethical development of digital and industrial technologies, che sostiene uno sviluppo delle tecnologie digitali e industriali etico e incentrato sull'uomo, attraverso un impegno bidirezionale nello sviluppo delle tecnologie, responsabilizzando gli utenti finali e i lavoratori e sostenendo l'innovazione sociale.

Il cluster 4 Digital, Industry and Space di Horizon Europe mira a potenziare la competitività industriale dell’Unione e la sua capacità di far fronte alle sfide future investendo sulla sovranità tecnologica e le competenze scientifiche, tecnologiche e industriali in aree chiave per la trasformazione dell’economia, del mondo del lavoro e delle società europee. Il cluster mette a sistema la ricerca e l’innovazione nei settori del digitale, delle tecnologie chiave, dello spazio e promuove la fornitura di materie prime sostenibili per costruire un’industria competitiva, digitale, circolare e a basse emissioni.
