The training concept is particularly targeted to the needs of entrepreneurs, start-up companies or small-medium sized companies looking for information/strategies to build up or develop a life science business around their intellectual assets.
The webinars are structured to address the relevant steps to build, protect and manage IP portfolios to develop a profitable life science enterprise from the commercial and investment perspective – including the basics of contractual management and licensing. Licenses are an effective manner in which to monetize a life science company’s intellectual property while retaining ownership and creating a revenue stream for the company.
The European IPR Helpdesk offers a series of three webinars which can be booked individually. Up to 100 seats per webinar on a first come – first serve basis are offered.
This training session provides an overview of:
- What implies the management of an IP-portfolio and why is it of importance for the patent owner?
- Which prerequisites are necessary for an active and efficient IP-management?
- Which decisions have to be made concerning inventions and filing strategies in the field of Life Sciences?
