Following a successful launch of Organic Innovation Days in 2015, the second edition of Organic Innovation Days will take place in Brussels on 6 December 2016. To demonstrate the innovation potential of the organic food and farming community, TP Organics launches a call challenging farmers, researchers and companies to propose innovative solutions to one of the following needs of the organic sector:

  • Innovation for animal health and welfare in organic production systems
  • Increasing productivity and quality in organic arable farming
  • Improving the transparency of the organic value chain

These are the themes of 2016 Call that are based on the priority topics identified the TP Organics Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

The call is open for any organization, company or individual researcher/practitioner who can propose an innovative solution to the issues described in one of the themes. TP Organics Jury will select the most promising solution for each theme. The author of the selected submission will be invited to present it at the Organic Innovation Days on 6 December in Brussels. All eligible innovative practices that fit into the call description will be promoted through the Innovation Arena of TP Organics and/or through TP Organics newsletter.
