The School will combine understanding of the impact of pollution and climate changes on the archaeological remains and monumental complexes with the management of heritage sites on the basis of innovative techniques and adaptation strategies.

Main Topics: Climate and pollution changes, Deterioration processes of building materials in outdoor and underwater environment, ICT and nanotechnologies in Cultural Heritage conservation, Mitigation and adaptation strategies.

The School is addressed to: scientists, architects, engineers, conservators, restorers, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows  (participants will be admitted to the Summer School after evaluation of their curriculum vitae)

The conference is designed to provide an informal and interactive environment between students and lecturers
