A UK University is coordinating the submission of a proposal toward the BBI 2016.R9 topic under the Bio Based Industries call. The project will create an innovative, economically viable and commercially focused bio based value chain for the production of high value products from microalgae. An end user of polyunsaturated fatty acids and functional polysaccharides is sought to complete the consortium. The end user may require these for encapsulation, functional foods and or nutraceuticals.

  • Type and role of partners sought: Industrial, SME or larger working in Nutraceuticals, aquafeed, in order to assess scope and join the consortium
