Mental health affects everyone: 1 in 5 people experience challenges, meaning 4 in 5 potentially know someone they’d like to support. But understanding their daily struggles from the outside is difficult, and starting a conversation with family, friends or colleagues about this topic is difficult. Yet, it is proven that support from one’s personal environment plays a significant role - both for prevention and for the recovery of mental health. And still, low-barrier solutions to create a shared understanding are rare.
Therefore a German start-up is planning a project that aims to develop and promote a board game with a multimedia online knowledge platform, both focused on mental health. They combine creative disciplines such as game development, graphic design, storytelling with psychology and research.
The start-up is still looking for a partner to ensure the accuracy of the psychological content in the game, develop complementary content for the knowledge platform and optionally conduct a study on the game’s effectiveness.
The partner should be a registered legal entity from an eligible country different than Germany.
