A UK-based SME has developed a novel coating technology with anti-bacterial and anti-viral efficacy they will further develop and scale. The SME is building a research consortium for a Eurostars proposal and already has R & D partners from Spain and the Czech Republic as well as an industrial partner from Spain to look at developing and scaling the technology. The UK SME is looking for a European heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) filter manufacturer to join the consortium. The filter manufacturer is expected to provide their expertise to examine the application of the anti-infective technology to manufacturing processes and performance of the coated product. The envisaged partnership is a Research Cooperation Agreement. The project is expected to last 12 months.
